It's good to get what you're able to get without paying for it. Some people would consider this freeloading. But when you don't WANT to pay for cardboard (despite Yu-Gi-Oh being the number 1 selling TCG in the world, I don't contribute to that)
Probably a week ago, I stumbles across a friend that needed Naruto squads (Kiba and Akamaru/Shino and Kiba) and because he really doesn't give a damn about yugioh anymore, he allowed me to take 9 holos out of his dwindling book(he was selling the entire book so I guess it wasnt much of a loss to him). Some that included ULT Doomkaiser and ULT Revived King Ha Des (which I believe will be sought after when the list goes into effect in about a day now). SO with that logic, I took what I believed I can flip and that gave me my first trades. I havent traded them yet but I believe I'll be able to trade/sell them.
The point I'm making is if you want to make your maximum profit in this game, Spend very little and sell alot. You never know when a friend will just give you cards for very littler for a number of reasons. This doesn't happen everyday but it's possible.
THis is just something you learn to do when you don't grow up with everything...
