Why I "yugi-rant"

I do it for others, but I'm able to get my opinion across.

I'm able to entertain people with the way I speak

And also it gives me a sense of purpose.

Since people have started to like my opinions, I take time to think of the subjects, while accepting ideas from others...

And for the money... When I make it I mean..

Girls & Yu-Gi-Oh! (Don't mix)

While they are good eye candy. Guys get the wrong idea here. Yu-Gi-Oh is one of many places where a female can take FULL advantage of a male not able to control their sexual desires, It's even worse if you don't even get the fuck them...

I understand wholeheartedly that finding females(that don't have something wrong with them) playing Yu-Gi-Oh! is very entrancing. However; it's not every female, but some will take advantage of your "dickly thought process" in forms of making you drop prices on cards (that you really don't care about). But as I mention in this video, When it comes to money, unless your vagina is the shit (bitch); then consider yourself screwed...

Depends on the guy.

Me? it won't work on...

Dandylion & Red-Eyes Darkness Metal (Absolute Powerforce SE)

Assuming they will be released. This doesn't mean anything special. You can get that playset of Darkness Metals for CHEAP! Dandylion is still limited so you'll probably needing to find alternative uses.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arts and crafts? FTW!?

Amazing Card Collections but Shitty Attitudes?

I've seen this quite a bit in my experiences. where a person would take EVERYTHINg with them, but why the hell are you carrying all that shit to a locals. Even worse; you dont even see most of it.

And On top of that, if they have a shitty tude'. I kinda makes you wanna rob them

(I'm not that type of guy personally but I know people that have very little morals)

Moral of the story, calm that shit down. If you have a shitty attitude. Keep that at home... because it's really not worth losing all your shit..

The 5 min Turn (FTK)

I'm so late with this post but...

If you haven't seen this video on Youtube, here's your chance to see it.

This was a chance recording. I had no idea this would happen, I'm not really complaining however ^_^

Trago-tronic Update

Here's the updated decklist

1 Cyber Dragon
3 Boomboxen
3 Radion
3 Tragoedia
3 Scopen
3 Remoten
2 Boarden
1 Sangan
1 Gorz
1 Card Trooper

2 Book Of Moon
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mind Control
1 Brain Control
3 Junk Box
1 Lightning Vortex

3 Waboku
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Torrential
1 Call of the Haunted

I completely dropped Celfon for a few reasons. While it's a +1 with a good roll, I've had times where I rolled 6 and got NOTHING! That shit is crazy! seeing as I like to have cards that have a use in all phases of the game, I ultimately decided to drop Celfon & One for One. It baits Tragoedia being dropped early, but that's kinda all it does, and it does nothing without protection.

So with that being said. My build is synchro heavy, dishing out 7-8 LV synchros easy. Remoten works well with scopen and Tragoedia giving ou a MT to use with scopen and/or a MT to discard with Tragoedi.

Because I Heard Tragoedia was a good card (in Morphtronics)

It's me again up to no good. This time I have a decklist of which you can see the video to here...

Main deck (40 Cards)
Monsters
3 Tragoedia
1 Remoten
2 Celfon
3 Radion
2 Boomboxen
2 Boarden
1 Slingen
1 Card Trooper
1 Cyber Dragon
1 Sangan
1 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter

Spells
2 Pot of Avarice
3 Junk Box
1 Brain Control
1 Mind Control
1 One for One
2 Book of Moon
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon

Traps
3 Waboku
2 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Call of the Haunted

Suggested extra deck...

1 Armory Arm
1 Ally of justice - Castator
1 Magical Android
1 Flamvell Uruquizas
1 Iron Chain Dragon
1 Goyo Guardian
1 Black Rose Dragon
1 Ancient Fairy Dragon
1 Ancient Sacred Wyvern
2 Stardust Dragon
1 Colossal Fighter
1 Red Dragon Archfiend
1 Thought Ruler Archfiend
1 Mist Wurm

(No Side deck as of yet)

So why Tragoedia? Tragoedia in MT's is able to make use of each of his effects. Sure it gets huge for no reason and you can take stuff, but have you ever thought about the level changing ability. That effect SHINES *bling bling* in MT's because the monsters are lower then 6 (minus Tragoedia of course). Changing the level make for QUICK synchro summons just in case your hand size reaches the "danger zone" (which will be less then 4 cards in hand)

I figured since I spent my share of time with MT's; I thought why not use them WITH Tragoedia (because Tragoedia is the shit). I had Gorz in here for the longest mainly due to it's level (you can steal Blackwing Armor Master) but there are better ways to deal with it, and having a card just because it can be discarded for (Tragoedia) doesn't seem well. I mean, sure I debated it because of black rose dragon and the problem with a empty field (where Gorz is awesome) but for it to get to that point, I would have to play extra conservative. It's sure side deck material. but not main deck. But it's great against LS.

The Extra deck is basically generic as you can get because MT's can make any level synchro. There's nothing really special except Ancient Sacred Wyvern. Maybe it's because I love this card, but it's one of the only decks where you can ACTUALLY summon it without a problem (because Scopen is LIGHT).

So on top of synchro summoning like crazy, The other focus is yes, Tragoedia because it takes advantage of card advantage. so even though I may use at least 2-3 monsters to synchro summon, it's that much easier to make pot of avarice a live card (which means more card in hand for tragoedia).

It's semi-competitive at best but I will continue to test and make it better...

Not AGAIN!!? (the resurgence of pointless nonsense)

I know it's been a while but I'm back to blogging.

So what have I missed? apparently, GB's have fallen off and now the metagame consists of Destiny Heros Zombies, Blackwings and Lightsworn (twilight).

Which means quite a few things.

First, you now have to worry about honest AND kalut (KALUT!! LOL)

I didnt realize mixing a few zombies just to abuse ONE tuner was good on top of a stupid engine is just... you guessed it stupid! Sure it works most of the time, but lets just talk common sense here,

The destiny engine consists of 2 mali, 3 d-draw, stratos, and either 1 diamond dude/1 doom lord, or 2 diamond dude. 5 targets...

That's all the deck does didn't you realize? Goblin Zombie searched for plague, zombie master gets plague while dropping mali in grave and mezuki gets plague back AGAIN!

What if it just so happened if you got rid of the plague spreader. Oh yea it run Krebons but it's just krebons. It's a DARK tuner. To mitigate this fact; people have gotten back on Dimensional Alchemist's balls AGAIN! It's a good card but it's bad when people don't realize it on their own.

"It's like learning to ride a bike, over and over again, you keep hitting the goddamn tree. you can wait till someone tells you to steer AWAY from the tree or you can do it your damn self."

Now to Blackwings. The coverage for Columbus was better then the last writer. First we do not have to read every GODDAMN time that blackwings are being used with Vayu.

WE ALREADY KNOW THAT!!!

The deck has not changed since it's induction and people finally realized you can SS Vayu with shura and synchro for a lv 5 and get Vayu in the grave. How long did it take for people to realize this?

Vayu gets around Oppression, not because it's immune to it. Your opponent can kepp paying 800 to negate it's effect, but seeing as yavu getting removed is a effect, it stays in the graveyard. How stupid is that? I mean it's cool and all but you get synchros from the extra deck by "synchro summoning from the graveyard". It's NOT actually synchro summoning but just saying.

Now this is new, Tragoedia in LS is good? just as the player that won columbus. pitching wulf to take a shura is good times, even if it dies to a kalut'd bora. his opponent just -1 himself. those subtle things(in addition to always removing Dark Armed Dragon for allure is a the ingredient for success. At least in the case, winning a Jump. Congrats.

What people should try to do is incorporate Archlord Krystia in LS. It's a beat stick that prevents SS. it's pretty easy to summon and it's summon condition is simular to JD. Difference, it will make the game easier for you to win. However; to do that you need more fairies. so far the typical LS deck runs Celestia & Honest and you're never guaranteed to have EXACTLY 4 in your GY. But with Shire, it makes it a bit easier. AND on top of it all, when you finally summon kristya, you get a fairy back (hmm, did anyone say... HONEST?)

Why people are mad at me?

... well for starters. I have really no idea why.

Ever since april or so, I've decided to rant about various topics relating to the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, and in turn, I've gathered a fanbase. But also I've attracted alot of negative attention as well.

Was it intended? nope

It all started with my first video, Pro Players: Adam Corn, where I talk about his immature ways and behavior. this video was the first one that I did myself that got me over 1,000 views basically in a few days. It even got me a thread on duelistgroundz.com and even a award on Youtube for the most viewed in my catagory.

This would be the first video where I created buzz with talking about the so called pro players of this game and thus causing people to get really offended. I understood that someb wouldnt understand the full intent in my first video, so I decided to do a second video, correting many statements thaty conflicted in my previous video.

However, when I decided to stop with the "pro players", I was presented with yet another story. Where Cesar "the princess" gonzalez was seen crying in a bathroom stall at a Shonen Jump Championship. SO I felt the need to do yet another video. People probably got the wrong idea, like always because he's gay but I was simply talking about his bahavior.

and now the most recent rant, Which I'm sure that will cause more fuss is one with Robert Ackerman. I don't really remember who he is but he either has a medical condition or takes this game way too seriously!

Now maybe I'm wrong here, but I do believe I have the right to my opinion, which is expressed in the first amendment in the bill of rights. So for people to hate me for my "opinion" is childish, and just flatout stupid.

what's your opinion?

Vayu Turbo, with a twist

I havent seen Vayu turbo in action but it seems to retain most of the speed decks in the previous format.

Spends eariler turns setting up for the explosive turn

Flood the field full of monsters/synchros in said turn using as little resources as possible

Having the ability of summoning dark armed dragon

To my understanding, instead of swarming the field with the aid of shura, bora, gale; allowing easy synchro summons and ultimately winning with DSF. DSF is banned so no one can longer rely on it, the game slows down as a result and you finally cant 'cheat'. Forcing you to actually play to win.

Like normal BW, there wasnt many ways to build it. Vayu turbo is no exception. But i present to you a build that uses the same engine you learn to expect while keeping the deck original.

1 dark armed dragon

2 blackwing - elphin the raven

2 blackwing - sirocco the dawn

1 elemental hero stratos

3 dark grepher

3 destiny hero - diamond dude

2 armageddon knight

2 necroface

1 prometheus, king of the shadows

3 blackwing - vayu the emblem of honor

3 destiny draw

2 allure of darkness

Reinforcement of the army

Heavy storm

Mystical space typhoon

Brain control

Burial from a different dimension

2 lightning vortex

1 smashing ground

Fissure

Mirror force

Call of the haunted

Return from a different dimension

Torrential tribute

2 bottomless trap hole

It seems the only real threat is a threatening roar followed by vortex, JD, insert random mass removal card here. This version uses the engine during the teledad era. Ddraw for even more speed to compliment allure along with diamond dude to pop spells for free such as vortex, heavy, even ddraw and allure.

Some stranger inclusions include necroface and prometheus. necroface allows you to recycle your rfg cards but it doubles as some deck removal. And prometheus acts as a secondary win condition. The addition of so many dark monsters to be ditched with grepher, even if you ran out of steam you have burial and return to get a second use out of your rfg.

Vayu turbo is basically like zombies with mezuki.

Elphin and sirocco make synchro summoning possible; armor master and armed wing respectively.

Your biggest problem, is d.d crow, kycoo, soul release, banisher of the radiance and macro decks period so the hate player can basically run 3 kycoo, 3 banisher and/or macro/d-fissure and assume they dont draw complete shit, will take massive loads on this.

So, what do you do?

Side your own kycoos

If you dont main them, side book of moon for random stupid monsters that you can beat up

My body as a shield?

Threatening roar?

Another burial?

You think about it...

Lightsworn...

Someone asked me if LS will be top tier? Well no fucking shit.

It's been there and it will stay unless a FEW things happen.

and not if Judgment Dragon gets limited, it won't make any bit of difference.

and not if Charge of the Light Brigade gets hit either. It was top tier upon it's release and that was Light of Destruction.

If the following happens, then the deck will go belly up.

IF Lumina gets limited, not semi'd. If it would ever get semi'd then you could just run another lyla in place of it.

if celestia gets the limit, so much for your universal answers lightsworn!

But back to the topic, why is LS still top tier?

1. LS didn't get touched by the list, which means that those people that may have spent their money on the deck, won't have to shit on themselves just yet.

2. It will only rival Vayu Turbo as the fastest deck in the format.

3. It has main deck answers for everything. Without the threat of solemn and bottomless since it went to 2; the only thing they will have to worry about is not drawing a threatening roar when Vayu turbo decides to explode (and I dont mean in an orgasm)

4. The hell? it uses honest and beckoning light!

Spoiler: Playing without Paying...

It's good to get what you're able to get without paying for it. Some people would consider this freeloading. But when you don't WANT to pay for cardboard (despite Yu-Gi-Oh being the number 1 selling TCG in the world, I don't contribute to that)

Probably a week ago, I stumbles across a friend that needed Naruto squads (Kiba and Akamaru/Shino and Kiba) and because he really doesn't give a damn about yugioh anymore, he allowed me to take 9 holos out of his dwindling book(he was selling the entire book so I guess it wasnt much of a loss to him). Some that included ULT Doomkaiser and ULT Revived King Ha Des (which I believe will be sought after when the list goes into effect in about a day now). SO with that logic, I took what I believed I can flip and that gave me my first trades. I havent traded them yet but I believe I'll be able to trade/sell them.

The point I'm making is if you want to make your maximum profit in this game, Spend very little and sell alot. You never know when a friend will just give you cards for very littler for a number of reasons. This doesn't happen everyday but it's possible.

THis is just something you learn to do when you don't grow up with everything...

What's the deal with Adam Corn?

There is NO deal, he just decides to do dumb shit.

Which is why he has a video that has gotten over 2,000 views.
Some people agree with what I said in GENERAL about "pro" players that act like complete bitches, when they lose to a "noob". You were a "noob" before.

As stated in the first video, I stated that I could beat him, I probably could. which may spark more questions?

"why havent you done any deck experiemnts?"
"why don't you play with top tier decks?"

There is a plethora of mindless questions that you would expect to hear from Adam Corn dickriders. And it's bad when people look down on me because I expressing an opinion.

via link: http://duelistgroundz.com/index.php?showtopic=104418

But instead of not doing further dumb shit, mister "Cornhusk" decided to do even more dumb shit, like valuing Armor Master at 8 bucks and saying it's limited. This isn't the kicker. The kicker is what happens after this. He does in fact mean "Gale" at one but his words were (according to a subscriber):

Courtesy of DeathxWatch: I was talking to Adam today at Franks and he was trying to tell me Armor Master was $8 and he said it was limited to one. So I laughed at him. Then he all "I meant Gale, I meant Gale, which pretty much means Armor Master is basically at one too."

Does this make the grounds for a Adam Corn Part 3? Only time and his stupidity will tell.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Makes money! Seriously

Before I go on, I want ya'll to watch the following video.

Most people that are either, not into the game as much as other; or the ones that are completely ignorant to the possiblity of this card game doing anything other than wasting our time. It does waste our time. But it also gives us money in the process.

Come and see!!

Me Playing (Gravekeepers) vs. Some Sort of Anti-Meta

Gravekeeper’s has been an archetype that has been thrown under the bus. That is mostly because of their lack of support. The last thing they received that helped them as a hole was Gravekeeper’s Commandant. I find that sad.

But what can you do, it’s just Konami for you…

Anyway back to the match. Just looking at a deck doesn’t do much for me because you may think one thing in theory (like running morphtronic slingen, thinking it’s good and finding out it doesn’t work in practical game play). I played the deck to see exactly what the problem was.
Gravekeeper’s lost power ever since the rulings behind it, for instance. Necrovalley doesn’t negate anything that activates in the graveyard (Sangan, Giant Rat, Pyramid Turtle), nor that gets itself back from the graveyard (Plaguespreader and Sinister Serpent)

Game 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X-TCxgrxvIk )

From 4:48 to 5:04. When I played Gravekeeper’s Chief, using its effect and he chains torrential.

This is the chain,

1. Chief being tribute summoned (doesn't matter)
2. Activate chief’s effect
3. He chains torrential tribute

It resolves backwards

This is what happens. Torrential goes first, destroying chief. Chief’s effect activates (since it doesn’t have to be on the field, just has to be tribute summoned)

5:14 to 5:28 when he played allure and I played solemn. I played solemn because with his current field, he wasn’t doing anything (even with 4 face downs) and I didn’t want him to get any other cards to give him any chance of coming back. I believe playing solemn at times like that can and will win games.

Game 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URtFTCMZIHE)

1:02-1:12 I had to remove the Chief. I only had a choice between the chief and the Caius, I kept Caius. It would be better in the late game (if I made it that far).

1:46-1:56 he tried to remove valley and Krebons during my turn, lol

4:27- 4:35: I solemned the monarch not soul exchange… there is no real reason for you to solemn soul exchange, but the tribute off of it. Now he’s out a monarch… and can’t attack.

Believe me: if you would solemned soul exchange, that still gives them a normal summon or set but since he played the monarch. The only thing he could do is sp.summon but he doesn’t sp summon much (he’s playing monarchs). It’s vital to know what you’re up against. If you don’t know off hand, try to bait some cards out that give away their deck. Even take some extra damage. You’ll be better off doing so in the end. At the end of the day, it’s about the W and not the L.

All in all, the deck was okay when you got monsters to summon. I would suggest mystic tomato to search for the gravekeeper monsters. You won’t always have a spy to summon them. I don’t think he needed chief at all. All that did was increase your dead draws.
